Follow Me. Want to Live in a Fantasy?

Friday, Paul and I decided to spend our night thrifting. He found a sweater and I found tons of cute summer dresses, a keepsake box, a few purses, and a cropped backless cardigan held together by strings of pearls. Such good finds!! I think the cashier accidentally gave me 50% off EVERYTHING. Not complaining.. I fell completely in love with this dress I am wearing after I cut off nearly 3 feet of it. Saturday my friend Christine had a birthday party at her new house. Serena and I came early to help decorate. Then we went on a photo adventure & explored the "jungle" in her backyard. Once we reached the top of the mountain, we both heard rustling sounds around us.. screamed.. and ran fearing it was some sort of snake or scorpion. Then we realized it was just rain.. and then it proceeded to pour on us the rest of the way down.

On another note.. I am completely excited for summer.Oh sunny weather, how I miss you.. I also purchased a ticket to watch surfer blood in march with PT. Stoked! Check them out here if you haven't already! xxoo

"All That You Keep is The Journey, All You Keep Are The Spaces in Between"

"Dreams are sometimes called the veil, that which is between the waking world and that of spirit."
As bizarre as this may sound.. I believe my friend's spirit visited me last night-- youthful and full of life; as if all the suffering from the incarnation had been lifted. I dreamt of something so rich and compelling-- easily described as transcendent. There was a noticeable difference between my normal dreams and this visitation. It was simply more than a dream. Spirits often use our Dreamworld to make important connections. as We all have a need of some kind to keep in touch with our loved ones, whether they’re living or deceased, but, this kind of communication has allowed me to understand things from his perspective. This visit has helped me reconcile feelings of loss and quelled my grief.  It has produced a measure of comfort and the assurance that he is not far away. This dream, evidently, reveals evidence that the human spirit lives on.As this dream will cling to my heart, this encounter has raised my consciousness and instilled within me a new faith in God and certainty of an afterlife.  Guiding souls are not on a spiritual platform above us, but rather amongst us. My mind is now happily at peace  from all the “What ifs” and the void in my heart is now filled with the kind of closure I thought I could never attain from the deceased. Thank you and I miss you dearly..<3

We're Not in Wonderland Anymore, Alice

Is anyone else excited for the new "Alice In Wonderland" film coming out on March 5th? I'm typically not on the ball when it comes to new releases, but looked at through rose-colored glasses, fantasies and fairytale tend to appeal to me. Sadly.

`Well, it's no use your talking about waking him,' said Tweedledum, `when you're only one of the things in his dream. You know very well you're not real.'
`I am real!' said Alice, and began to cry.
`You won't make yourself a bit realer by crying,' Tweedledee remarked: `there's nothing to cry about.'
`If I wasn't real,' Alice said--half laughing through her tears, it all seemed so ridiculous--`I shouldn't be able to cry.'
`I hope you don't suppose those are real tears?' Tweedledum interrupted in a tone of great contempt.

Late Night Yogurt Runs

Joellen and I planned to go out Saturday night but decided to have a study session instead. Before our session began, we took our first break & called up our friend Dar to take us to get yogurt. After yogurt, we both went home and passed out right away. Ahaha.. so much for a successful night.

So Pleased with a Daydream, Now Living is No Good

This afternoon, my friend Paul & I decided to pick up our Coachella tickets from the store "Fingerprints" in Long Beach -- a cozy little record store with tons of amazing artwork and records. Paul insisted that buying a record player is the best investment. Keeping my eyes on the lookout. After purchasing our ticket, we walked down checked out a few shops on 2nd street. They have this amazing little crepe cafe.. so delicious.. but we didn't stop there this time. Instead, we made our way over to the beach to soak up the last hour of sun rays. The weather was perfect, but the sand & my tights do not mesh well together.

Everyone be sure to check out Paul's music blog here. Hope everyone has a pleasant weekend. I'll be spending my weekend at starbucks burried in textbooks.
