Ryan Gosling and friend Zach Shields formed the band "Dead Man's Bones", unintentionally debuting their first self-titled album in October 2009. The album was originally intended to be a soundtrack to a monster-ghost-love-story. Collaborating with the Silverlake Conservatory Children’s Choir, DMB acquire an impressive collection of eerie, dreamily haunting melodies telling stories of broken hearted zombies and the joys of the living and dead.
